Trundling Home from Moose Jaw

As it is a 12ish hour drive from Nelson to Moose Jaw, we broke each way into two days with a stop in Medicine Hat in both directions.

On the return trip we had a bit more time for sightseeing…and, of course, fabric shopping. This is Mooks…a veritable warehouse of fabrics.

The Saamis Teepee (the world’s largest)

That’s Brent reading some information. Gives a bit of perspective as to the size of the teepee.

The Red Rock Coulee

Premium Sausage in Seven Persons. We didn’t even see seven people, but the meat is awesome. Next time, bigger cooler.

And on the way home…Taber corn. We bought about 4 dozen.
(Footnote: gas was 1.50 in Taber and at home it’s 1.83!)

….to this!

Stay tuned. Next stop…Yellowstone National Park.
