New Beginnings

Here we are July 2018 and the beginning of our new camping style.

We are saying goodbye to our tent trailer...it was a good 10 years 😘

 ...and hello to our new travel trailer! Brent and I looked at a couple in Kamloops and stayed in Vernon where it was like 37° 🤪 

We found this one in Vernon at Mike Rosmans RV Sales. We had looked at a few more and got overwhelmed by the choices. There were a couple that even had fireplaces in them! 

 The experience was quite an eye opener for me. The first 3 dealers we visited we had a salesman greet us in their lots and were quick to show what would work with our truck. The next 2 we were on our own. One was busy filming a commercial. Yes it was hot out but really? Definitely not going back there. 

We were going to go as far as Summerland to check out the Minnie Winnebago but we had had enough after West Kelowna. The heat had gotten to us. When we got back to the hotel we discovered there was a fire between Peachland and Summerland and the road had been closed. Our Angels were watching over us for sure. 

On our way back to the hotel we stopped one more time and decided this was the one for us. Mike the salesman was pretty darn good too! We will return next weekend and pick it up and begin the maiden voyage. Can’t wait!
