Last Camping for this Year

The weather has turned so quickly. Unbelievable! The forecast is for snow on the passes..yikes! Good timing for us this weekend as the sun was in our favor. Our awning finally came in so we loaded up and headed back to Vernon. While they were installing we took a drive over to the other side of Swan Lake and checked out a campground. We thought that it would be warmer to spend the night there instead of coming back closer to home. The temperature hit a nice 18° but it sure dropped at night!

It was a beautiful campground. Definitely will stay again if the need arises.

Busy place!

We packed up early and headed home as I needed to pick up the car in Castlegar. They were putting on the winter tires for our road trip to McBride next weekend. The leaves are turning and I love how the tips of the leaves are a lighter green.

Got home late afternoon and the wind is just howling....wow...
